🎉 A Milestone Rooted in Mission

This July, we celebrate not just a professional milestone—but a moment that reflects a lifelong journey of purpose. Mujeddid Muhammad, our Director of Programs, is now officially a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).

For those who know him, this news won’t come as a surprise. Mujeddid has always walked the path of healing, advocacy, and service. This license simply affirms what we at TMLY—and the youth we serve—have long known: he was born for this work.

💬 From Lived Experience to Licensed Leadership

Mujeddid doesn’t just work in social justice and youth development—he embodies it. His lived experiences, his leadership in and outside of institutions, and his steady presence in our programming have changed countless lives. Becoming a licensed social worker is more than a title. It’s a reflection of years of hard-won wisdom, academic excellence, and unwavering dedication.

It means our young people get access to a leader who is both credentialed and deeply connected. It means our team is stronger. And it means our future is brighter.

“My license is not the start of this work—it’s just the next chapter.”
– Mujeddid Muhammad, LSW

💥 What It Means for TMLY

  • More capacity for trauma-informed mentorship
  • Stronger program structure, compliance, and outcomes
  • Continued growth in healing-centered youth services
  • Representation that inspires other returning citizens and youth
  • And so much more...

🙌 Thank You, Mujeddid

We see you. We’re proud of you. And we’re better because of you.

Congratulations, Mujeddid, LSW. Your story continues to show our youth what’s possible.
